Why did Galatine change shape from square to round?
Because of their shape, there was a strong risk of the square tablets crumbling. Thanks to our Research & Development department we discovered that the round version of the tablet was more likely to remain in one piece, reducing the risk of it breaking before it was even unwrapped. This is why Galatine changed shape from square to round in 1996
In what formats are Galatine available?
In the major retail channel all of the sweets in the Galatine range are available in packet or stick formats, while in the bar/tobacconist channel they are only available in the stick format
